Lexmark have now added the X5650 to their collection of multi-function printers for use at home and by students. It can print, scan, copy and fax.The X5650 looks quite plain. On the front is a control panel with a small LCD screen and a number of buttons to operate the various functions. The Multi-format card reader and USB ports situated to the right mean you you can print photos with your PC turned off.Surprisingly, considering its low price, the X5650 includes an auto-document feeder. Although it only holds a maximum of 25 pages it will help save time.Getting the X5650 up and running is simple and doesn't take very long.There are two different sizes of black and colour Lexmarak X5650 ink cartridges. Obviously print quality is one of the key qualities of any printer and the X5650 achieved fair results. Bold text was a little fuzzy but ordinary text was black and clear. When it came to business graphics the X5650 was a little disappointing with pale print although black text was clear over coloured graphics and there was no sign of banding. The X5650 printed a page of text in about 10 seconds and in draft mode it took roughly half that Casque Beats by dre time.The X5650 printed fine, lively photos even with the ordinary colour cartridge. Up close the prints lacked detail Beats By Dre Pas Cher but would probably be considered perfectly alright by most users. Printing photos on the X5650 was slow at nearly two minutes for a 5x7 print.The X5650's scanner is located on top of Casque Beats pas cher the machine and has a resolution of up to 600x1,00 ppi and it is possible to scan directly to a computer or a flash drive.During testing the X5650 proved to be surprisingly noisy when printing which could prove annoying during a long print run.For the money the Lexmark X5650 is a reasonable machine with good features although it does nothing brilliantly.
