Amazon should rectify this problem and do something about those vendors who sell fakes.Apparently the rubber frame was also the cheapest here, around $70 (Dec, 2012) and that was within my budget for quality sunglasses. Everywhere I shopped they were sold for around $125. A few online stores sell them for less, but I wouldn't trust them, and unless you're familiar with their return policies stay away. It's so easy to be duped into buying fakes, whose lens quality is most definitely not as good if good at all. Bad lenses give me headaches and eye strain, so this is not where I try to save a few bucks.I've been using Ray-Bans for decades now, even before they became so pricey. Good lenses and a classic style. I really like the RB2132 55mm. Not too dark, the frame fits well, and the size is right. On this, I'd advise that you go to a store like Macy's and try them on. See how they fit on your face. There's another Wayfarer of 50 or 52mm (I forget which one) but they felt a bit too small for me. It was during my store visit that I discovered the rubber frame, which is identical in size and lens to the black, the standard one. So I saved a few bucks by buying the former instead of the latter. Also, while at the store really examine those on display. Note the feel and their particular features, so if/when you buy online, you'll probably can tell if there's a difference.In short, these are classic and great sunglasses but buy with caution. <br>N.
