reluctant on buying these glasses because of issues with authenticity. However, I took the chance and went ahead and purchased them since the price was great and there was free shipping/free returns. Amazon isn't known to sell fake items but I took them into a store for authentication anyway, and was reassured that they are, in fact, the real thing. Opened up the well packed box to find the correct Ray-Ban/Luxottica box and label. The black leather case had the Ray-Ban seal in gold on the side and imprinted in the button. So far, so good.Removed the glasses to find all the proper markings. The etched RB in the lens, the steel rod inside the stems and all the proper lettering(i.e.-Made in Italy)printed on the inside of them. Still not convinced, I took them to a local Sunglass Hut to compare to theirs and held them side by side. EXACTLY THE SAME!My conclusion is that these are the real deal and for a great price to boot. Or go to an optical specialist that carry Ray Bans and try some there. Write down the numbers for the glasses you like. I like mine a very much, partially because I tried different sizes and lens to find the one I liked. Other than all that, be sure you are getting what you want. These glasses don't look like the picture. I wanted mine to be green. They
