Man shot in possible robbery attempt

The incident apparently began inside a unit at the large Pepperwood Apartments complex and continued outside, where the shooting occurred, said sheriff's homicide Lt. Glenn Asics Outlet Giannantonio. Two suspects were seen fleeing east on University.
Deputies found Asics Outlet Store a man with a gunshot wound on the ground, said Giannantonio. The victim was Asics Outlet Store taken to a hospital with life threatening injuries.
Homicide detectives were called and have taken over the case. Investigators served warrants to search two apartments Asics Shoes Outlet in the complex.
No further information about the victim or shooter has been released. No suspects have been identified, the lieutenant said.
"We're still trying to interview witnesses and trying to piece everything together," Giannantonio said.
Many of the residents who were initially evacuated following the shooting have been allowed back into their homes, except for a few, like Dylan Jones, 18. He said he came home about 15 minutes after the shooting and didn't witness the incident.
