Rick Hansen 25th Anniversary Relay to Visit Greater Sudbury
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Rick Hansen's Man in Motion World Tour, the Rick Hansen Foundation has created a 12,000 km cross Canada relay that retraces Rick's original route. It began on August 24 in Cape Spear, Newfoundland and will pass through Greater Sudbury on December 12 on its way to Victoria, British Columbia.
Seven thousand participants will help carry the Rick Hansen medal using a variety of modes of transportation, including walking, running, cycling, wheeling, hand cycling and snowmobile adaptive rowing.
