The silence (W) is great harass and waveclear, and it completely fucks up a lot of assassins and champions who want to all in you like, say, Riven. Keep your lane warded because you likely have your lane pushing towards their tower. I usually save my knock up (Q) for getting their jungler off of my back.<br><br>For builds, I always start Doran Ring and two health pots and I rush Catalyst in to Rod of Ages afterwards. In top lane, I almost always go straight tank after RoA and I build an Abyssal Scepter if they have a lot of magic damage or if we have significant magic damage dealers who would benefit from the MR reduction. In mid, my core build is usually RoA,giubbotti moncler outlet overview for BigVikingBeard, Sorc Shoes (substitute for Merc Treads or Ninja Tabi if necessary), Zhonya and Void Staff. Sometimes I build Crystal Scepter if we really need the slow or just to be cheesy if I fed. Deathcap is good because of his absurd AP scaling, but I don build it often because I like having at least one or two tank items as Cho (Frozen Heart, Locket, etc.) CDR is your friend, but sometimes it can be hard to work in to Cho builds beyond a Frozen Heart.<br><br>Guess that about all I can think of off the top of my head. Cho is a beast who has the potential to deal tons of damage and he scales rather well in to the late game, but he suffers from a little wonkiness and unreliability with his Q and he gets punished hard if he dies (loss of Feast stacks).<br><br>Came here to say this. I gone against several different ADCs in top lane as Maokai (Vayne, Quinn, and Draven are ones I can recall offhand), and I honestly had little trouble past the first few levels. I started Flask/2 health pots/1 mana pot. Every time, the ADC did what they could to shove my wave, so I kind of let them and last hit with Q and E whenever I could. Once I got Catalyst, I start to poke a little, maybe engage with W for a full combo and immediately back off, rinse and repeat and eventually go all in with ult.
