I said and believed shit like that.<br><br>It IS hypocrisy, and it doesn cease to be hypocritical simply because the Christian believer doesn recognize it. The average Christian assumes there are different motivations behind proselytizing for each faith ("we want people to go to heaven, but Islam is a false religion from Satan") and so honestly believes they are completely different things because the believer honestly believes they are working toward completely different ends. They lack the ability to step outside themselves and look at the net effect from an impartial view.<br><br>If your mother were to say that it was wrong for religion to seek world domination, then support world domination for any given religion, then you would be correct. But your mother said she opposed Islamic domination. Unless she then supports Islamic domination, then the word doesn apply. Supporting Christian domination in the place of Muslim domination is not hypocritical, by definition, in the least.
