Manhunt Underway In Yorba Linda For Burglary Suspect Wearing

    <html>YORBA LINDA (CBSLA.com) ― A manhunt was underway in Yorba Linda Thursday for a residential burglary suspect witnesses say fled the scene in a boot cast.
    The Orange County Sheriff s SWAT team set up a perimeter near Village Center and Vista Laguna after the suspect was spotted escaping from a house in Vista del Amigo after allegedly breaking in.
    Investigators say the suspect should be easy to spot because he has a bad leg and was reportedly wearing a large walking boot.
    Based on the witness description of the suspect having been wearing the boot cast, deputies felt that he probably did not get very far very fast. Hence a large response from the Sheriff s Department and the SWAT team, Orange County Sheriff s Department spokesperson Jeff Hallock said.
    The OCSD says multiple witnesses have confirmed the suspect is a dark-skinned male wearing a walking boot. They believe he is aged 25-30, wearing black shorts and a white shirt.
    A man matching that description was seen by a witness in area of Yorba Linda Boulevard and La Palma, according to investigators.
    A witness also reported seeing the suspect across the Santa Ana Riverbed at Costco in Savi Ranch. Deputies raced to the scene but the suspect was not found.
    Investigators ask that anyone with information regarding the suspect call the Orange County Sheriff s Department Commander at (714) 628-7170.</html>
