    White House details Bush gift list

    WASHINGTON (CNN) A $14,000 shotgun and a pricey mountain bike were among the gifts President Bush accepted last year, according to financial disclosure forms on the president and vice president the White House released Friday.

    The bike was a gift from the Trek Bicycle Corp. The company also gave the president three bike helmets, several pairs of gloves and other bike equipment totaling $532, according to the forms.

    First lady Laura Bush accepted a $1,300 gold bracelet from Mr. and Mrs. Tom Bernstein of Riverdale, New York, according to the forms. And she received salad plates valued at $408 from Tricia Lott, the wife of Sen. Trent Lott, R Mississippi.

    The president, who maintains a Texas ranch, accepted $295 cowboy boots from a friend in Houston and a $400 cowboy hat from a friend in Austin, according to the Nike Air Max 2016 forms.

    Other gifts to the vice president and his wife included a $1,600 painting of a house on the Delaware River from a Pennsylvania couple, and 12 bottles of wine, valued at $699, from an individual in the Cheneys' home state of Wyoming.
