Celebrate the Gifts Art Festival is slated for Oct
Nearly 60 artists will have their works available for sale
Calvin Presbyterian Church's annual Celebrate the Gifts Art Festival will kick off with an artists' preview reception Friday, Pandora Charms Clearance Oct.
There is no charge for the remainder of the three day event, which also runs Saturday, Oct. and Sunday, Oct.
This fine Pandora Pro 2014 arts show and Pandora Charms Clearance sale Pandora Charms Clearance will showcase nearly 60 juried Oregon artists sharing their woven works, collages, watercolors, oil and acrylic paintings, photography, ceramics, jewelry, fabric, wood and metal arts.
The show also will feature photography this year with professional photographer Raina Stinson providing a photo booth at the show with props and accessories so that shoppers may have their photos taken and printed immediately.
In addition, throughout the show there will be periodic art demonstrations, live music and a fashion show on Saturday, plus gourmet desserts will be for sale during the weekend.
Donations and a percentage of art sales will benefit local mission projects.
As a direct result of last year's show, $6,000 was donated to the local community. This year's proceeds will benefit the Good Neighbor Center in Tigard, Union Gospel Mission, Oregon Food Bank, Western Farm Workers and Habitat for Humanity, among others.
