Proper attire for Coastal Oregon weather
Flip Flops. For warm weather and for showering at campsites and at the gym and after yoga class. Also for around the house or running outside the check the mail. Also great to keep in the car just in case you need them. I love havaianas flip flops they are good quality, last forever, and are super comfortable and cushiony. Great for bike rides. For colder weather with tights, jeans, skirts, dresses, whatever. Office or casual or to the symphony. you'll see these everywhere in Eugene. They are multitasking shoes. Great for the rain and mud and they clean up and shine up super quick and easy. OK. So they are clunky looking and Nike Air Max 2016 ugly. (though they have some new ones that are more fun. mine are basic black like these.) but let me tell you: nothing will keep your feet as warm, dry, cozy, and comfortable while running amok on the Oregon coast as Bog boots. They are also made so that your feet don't slip. they are really rugged without Nike Outlet being heavy. I dare you to try some on you'll love how they feel. I keep these Bog Boots in the car, Nike Outlet Store too. You never know when they might come in handy in Oregon. I wore them yesterday and today around town in Eugene because of all the snow and rain and puddles and guck that's all over the ground. I keep plastic nike air max 2016 womens pink bags in the back of the car to protect the Nike Outlet car from dirt and muck.
I am from Texas. so it's been really interesting going from wearing heels and cute sandals most of the year and having a closet full of cute dainty feminine shoes. to the three I listed above. Oregon is a different sort of place. I love it.
After 10 years on the coast, I've found that sandals, mesh shoes and other breathable footwear with medium weight wool socks are the most comfortable thing to wear around the house and for car based errands. Cotton socks = cold feet (except, perhaps, in Sept. and Oct.).
