5M Powerball jackpot winner<br><br>LANSING, Mich. (WOOD) The West Michigan womanwho was the lone winner of last week's $310.5 million Powerball gamesays she plans to take the lump sum of $197 million.<br><br>Julie Leach said she found out she held the winning ticket while waiting for her lunch at a McDonald drive thru.<br><br>crazy, just unreal. I never thought it would happen. I still in disbelief. I just don know what to say; I overwhelmed. Leach said during a Tuesday news conference in Lansing.<br><br>Leach said she stopped at the Three Rivers West Shell station Wednesday, Sept. 30 to pick up 10 Powerball plays for $20 at the suggestion of her boyfriend. She said she tossed the tickets in her vehicle console then went to work at Aquatic, where she was a supervisor. lunch break. While waiting for her order at theMcDonald drive thru, she checked her tickets and found out she won the jackpot.<br><br>Leach said she went back to work where she had coworkersdouble check her ticket. As soon as she was sure it was the winning one, she clocked out for good.<br><br>I quit automatically, Leach said. was done. told my boss I don need a raise now, she added with a laugh.<br><br>Leach said she had worked at the fiberglass manufacturerfor nearly 23 years, working up the ranks from one of the most undesirable positions. Leach said.<br><br>Leach partner also worked in a manufacturing facility in Three Rivers. He said he was an employee of Metal Technologies Group for 29 years beforequitting his job.<br><br>said he have to sign a prenup now, joked Leach.<br><br>Leach said they talked about what they would do if they won the lottery for years, usually by campfire. She said the plans were to buy a lot of land and build a home for their kids in Michigan. She said she now plans to use her winnings to pay off her bills, purchase a new home for herself and Avery, and buy homes for each of their children. Leach also plans to travel with her family.<br><br>Leach is the third Michigander to win the Powerball jackpot, lottery officials said.
