MALCOLM GRAHAM, D (Chairs Mecklenburg delegation) Like other Democrats, found himself in the minority on party-line votes. Defended Charlotte s control of airport. Often served as a foil for Sen. Bob Rucho and other Republicans. SEN. BOB RUCHO, R (Co-chairs Senate Finance Committee) Played key roles in much of the session s major legislation including a voter ID bill and a proposed Charlotte airport authority. When Senate leaders rejected his sweeping tax overhaul proposal,Walter Reed a leader in breast, he briefly broke with party leaders and offered to give up his Finance gavel. SEN. JEFF TARTE,For Gamecocks’ Clowney it’s all about consistency_3, R (Vice chair of Senate Health Care Committee) Former Cornelius mayor pushed through his top priority: a bill to fix Mecklenburg County s flawed 2011 revaluation.
