He was not brought back to FIA despite repeated orders of the apex court.<br><br>Now, it will be an important case for Javed Iqbal to either himself investigate the case or depute some of his very credible and honest officers to probe it so that not only the plundered money of poor Hajis could be retrieved but also the culprits be held accountable.<br><br>NICL scandal was another major scam of the PPP's coalition government. Ayaz Khan Niyazi, a close buddy of Prime Minister Gilani, was appointed chairman of NICL and within a few months corruption of billions of rupees was unearthed. All facts of the case were brought before the nation by the FIA's former additional director general Zafar Qureshi who had to face the wrath of the rulers.<br><br>Later on it was found that the son of a top politician (head of a political party) was the direct beneficiary of the plundered NICL money. All the documentary evidence was available.<br><br>However, the ruling PPP struck a deal with this political party and made it a coalition partner at the centre.
