The ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ film casting choices has garnered a fair bit of backlash from devoted fans who want to see their favorite actors bring the erotic novels to life.
He and Tron actor were said to be heavily courted by the studio, but both passed. Hedlund, 29, reportedly gave it a chance, but couldn't connect with the character and pulled out of the running last July, to a trilogy.
