I had a strong response to my comment last week about Olive Garden. There are apparently readers who think it gets way more attention than it deserves and I should stop altogether until the Darden Restaurant group can find a location in town that suits them. I'd love to stop mentioning it, but since I average more than a dozen phone calls and emails a month, not to mention people stopping me to ask jordan 3 about it (I was even followed into the restroom at an event one time), even though I agree and would be more than happy to not mention OG again until they have broken ground, hired employees and are serving up pasta, I will probably have to continue every now and again, if for no other reason than to squelch the most recent rumor. <br><br>We have a lot more Dexter coming, so I'm ok with them taking a few episodes to build up the tension. I stated that it would be difficult to beat last year's story line. Jonathan Lithgow was the best serial killer the show has had so far. Possibly one of the creepiest serial killers ever to grace TV, in my opinion. So topping that killer is going to be pretty difficult.<br><br>Last weekend brought the opening of "The Dinner Party" at the Historic Everett Theatre. This Neil Simon Play stars our local sweetheart Iris Lilly as Mariette. Iris' superb performance keeps the audience in the palm of her hand, as her many emotions are revealed. It is a comedy, but there is also drama and suspense as this story unfolds. Curt Shriner, director, and fellow performer gets kudos for a great job as Andre. Mike Conway pleases us with his great portrayal of Claude and Laura Shriner's energy keeps us on the edge of our seats as the vivacious Yvonne. Ric Calhoun keeps us laughing and touches our heart as Albert. Sam Samano's dramatic entrance as Gabrielle pulls this play together. You gotta see her shoes!This play is wonderful.
